What to wear on a weekend trip to Paris

A two-day trip to Paris during the summer is the perfect excuse to look very fashionable, eat good food, shop and walk through the city to take in its beauty. Since it’s a short trip, when it comes to packing, opt for packing light: pick only three dresses and a pair of heels which can be worn with all the items of clothing.

In my outlook, a trench coat is an ideal coat for the summer. This because of the materials they are sometimes made from, like cotton which is a really comfortable material to wear during the hottest season of the year.

Swimwear in the ’80s

The evolving style history of swimwear in the eighties

What was considered as fashionable swimwear during the eighties changed a lot; a style of swimwear which was trendy in one year could no longer be trendy the following year which meant that as a decade, the eighties demonstrated a good range of swimwear styles. The first two years of the eighties (1980-1981) were a mix of simplicity and color for swimwear: the decade did not begin raunchy at all, unlike how it ended and it wasn’t until 1983 when swimwear changed from an elegant tone into skimpier pieces – triangle bikini tops and the raunchy types worn in films were now just a bit of a rage. This changed again in 1985 and 1987 – swimwear was now about accessorizing with a belt or jewelry. However, raunchy swimwear made a return again in 1988: bandeau tops and thong bikini bottoms ensured that a woman could now show more skin than usual but it would still be a very chic thing to do.
