Following minor successes in feature films, such as Factory Girl and It Takes Two, the duo quit acting to focus on their careers in fashion.

Advocating workers rights in Bangladesh aside, for those who manufacture their fashion line’s clothes, for which they have received appraise, their fashion lines deconstructs modern couture into wearable structured silhouettes. The Row (named after Savile Row), Elizabeth and James (a contemporary vintage fashion haunt), Olsenboye (a collaboration with J.C. Penney) and StyleMint (a T-Shirt line) are all style aficionado’s of the Olsens, and they have even earned a CFDA Fashion Award for the work.
