Model Georgia May Jagger is to front the Rock’n’Roll Mansion collection at H&M, which goes on sale in stores this month. Jagger is rock n’royalty – her father is Mick Jagger, and her mother is the famous American model and actress Jerry Hall, who is famous simply because of the long term relationship she had with the British legend.
With a bee-stung pout and her famous gap teeth, her looks are considered to be unconventional in the modelling industry, but as these photographs prove, she is pulling it all off really well.
May Jagger was quoted speaking about the campaign:
‘I think music influences fashion and has done so for generations. Music creates a certain mood and then people dress accordingly. I think it’s all quite closely intertwined,’
American fashion photographer Terry Richardson shot the fashion campaign for the Swedish high street giant. The set was a Parisian mansion filled with motorbikes, drumkits and guitars, while the British model posed in a studded white biker jacket, tie-dye jeans paired with boucle jackets, and a belted shift dress.
‘I love the dress,’
‘It’s such a versatile piece, and full of new rock ‘n’ roll spirit.’
The young model also commented on her own personal style and how much she loves modelling,
‘I don’t really have an everyday look,’
‘I wear what makes me feel good. It can be skinny jeans one day, and dresses and boots another.’
‘I’m really enjoying what I’m doing at the moment,“
‘I’m still so young so it’s hard for me to imagine what I might be doing in ten years time. I really like photography, so it would be great to do more of that in the future.’
You can find the H&M collection in stores nationwide from February onwards.
